I am currently on Grade eight and I want to do Private Lessons ... Yesterday I asked one of the instructors/coaches at the ice rink and I asked him if he does Private Lessons for Grade eight people and he said yeah. I asked him all about it and he said that if I wanted to do it then I would have to come out of my group lesson and go to him instead but what do you guys think I should do: stay in my group lesson and wait till I have completed Grade ten then go to him when I start my bronze, silver and gold or should I leave my group lesson and go to Patrick instead? (that's the instructor/coach. Most of you will probably say that It's up to me but what is best? Stay or go?

Thanks

I think you should stay in group lessons because private does not necessarily mean better. At the level your at it would probably be best, I'm in group coaching and I'm on Gold. When you get to a higher level i.e Silver, Gold then go for it. Sometimes when your still learning it's better to be with a group because you can actually learn alot more

it depends on if you have the money becuase it is expensive my coach cost $34 for half hour private lessson and i have 2 lessons a week then there is pratice and that coast money...i go to public sessions and freestyle sessions. the more experence your coach has the more money they are. if you have any more questions feel free to email me!! good luck and have fun :)
